Amanda Stovicek works as a teaching artist, leading poetry and creative writing workshops in the Northeast Ohio community. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the NEOMFA and Kent State University, an MA in Literature and Language from Kent State University, and a BA in English Writing from Heidelberg University. She is the founding editor of the online journal Voices of Dan Street [link], which showcases student writing from the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center. Amanda was named the Graduate Fellow at the Wick Poetry Center for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 academic years. Her work has appeared in The New Old Stock, Us For President, Rubbertop Review, and Jenny Magazine among others.
